Meet Jorge Trinidad
Owner and painter at Paint It in Roseburg, Oregon.
Jorge grew up outside Chicago and has been painting since 2006. He made his way out to Roseburg, made it home, and has run Paint It on his own for the past three years, working with homeowners and businesses across Roseburg and Douglas County.
Paint It is a one-person company. When you call, you talk to Jorge, and Jorge is the one who shows up to paint.

From Chicago to Roseburg.
Where I’m from
I grew up outside of Chicago, Illinois. I eventually made my way out to Roseburg, and I’ve come to really appreciate the community and the pace of life here. Roseburg has become home for me, and it’s where I’ve built both my work and my life.
Learning the trade
I started painting in 2006 and learned from a couple of experienced painters along the way. One taught me while I was working in the Chicago area, and another painter here in Roseburg helped me keep developing my skills. Over the years I’ve developed my own way of doing things.
Why I started Paint It
I wanted to work for myself and have more independence. I liked the idea of being responsible for my own work and having the freedom to build something of my own.
The details
Since my work reflects directly on me and my reputation, I want everything to look great when I’m finished. I don’t just get the paint on the walls and move on to the next job. I take the time to do things properly, so the finished product is something I’m proud to put my name on.
Outside of work
When I’m not painting, I enjoy volunteering and helping others. I like being involved in the community and using my time to do something useful for other people. I also enjoy photography and spending time with family.
